Brief Information - Selayang Pandang
Lasiana beach opened to the public sometime in the 1970s. From the Department of Tourism NTT polish by building various facilities in 1986, Beach Lasiana visited by foreign tourists. Pantai Lasiana mulai dibuka untuk umum sekitar tahun 1970-an. Sejak Dinas Pariwisata NTT memoles dengan membangun berbagai fasilitas pada tahun 1986, Pantai Lasiana ramai dikunjungi turis asing. Sesuai rencana pengembangan Pemerintah Kota Kupang, Pantai Lasiana akan dijadikan Taman Budaya Flobamora, yakni sebutan yang mengacu pada keseluruhan suku bangsa di dekat Pantai Lasiana, antara lain, Flores, Sumba, Timor, dan Alor.
Di Pantai Lasiana ini banyak didapati lopo-lopo yang berderet. Lopo-lopo adalah sebutan lokal untuk pondok yang dibangun menyerupai payung dengan tiang dari batang pohon kelapa atau kayu dan beratapkan ijuk, pelepah kelapa atau lontar, dan alang-alang. Bisa juga beratapkan seng yang bagian luarnya dilapisi ijuk, pelepah kelapa atau lontar dan alang-alang.

Pantai nan landai sekitar 3,5 hektar atau tepatnya 35.065 persegi ini, berudara sejuk karena dinaungi 65 pohon kelapa dan 230 pohon lontar tua yang hingga kini masih produktif. Pantainya berpasir putih halus, lautnya biru, airnya jernih dengan debur ombak yang bergulung-gulung kecil, tenang. Keindahan pantai ini bukan karena fasilitas buatan, tetapi lebih karena karakter alamnya.
Pantai Lasiana mempunyai topografi menarik, pada bagian barat terdapat perbukitan, sehingga keseluruhan kawasan ini mempunyai variasi unik, yaitu perpaduan antara perbukita dan pantai.

Pantai ini terletak di Kecamatan Kupang Tengah, Kota Kupang, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur.
Access - Akses Menuju Lokasi

Di Pantai ini terdapat satu bangunan kios percontohan, tiga kios komersial, dua kios cinderamata, empat kamar mandi cuci dan kakus (MCK), satu kolam renang dan instalasi air, satu kantor pengelola, satu panggung hiburan rakyat, dan tiga unit home stay. Umumnya para pedagang berjualan mulai dari hari sabtu sore, sepanjang hari minggu dan hari libur lainnya.
Selain menyediakan minuman dan makanan ringan, pedagang kecil di sekitar pantai juga menjajakan kelapa muda, jagung muda bakar, dan pisang gepe.
